Thor is the god of Thunder in Norse mythology and India captain Rohit Sharma can easily be called Thor, given that he is also built bulkily like his Marvel counterpart. Rohit Sharma, considered to be a white-ball cricket great, also has an envious record in Test matches.

In 251 ODIs and 148 T20Is, Rohit has 10112 and 3853 runs respectively. In 52 Tests, he has 3677 runs. Overall, Rohit Sharma has made 30 ODI, 10 Test, and 4 T20I centuries. He is the only batter with three ODI double centuries and holds the record for the highest individual score in ODIs.

Thor wields a powerful magical hammer named Mjolnir and Rohit Sharma wields his powerful bat and quick sense of picking ball’s lengths. Like Thor summons thunder at his will, Rohit can hit sixes at his will and has the second most sixes in international cricket.
