The ODI World Cup 2023 will begin in India from October 5 onwards. The 10-team event will see 48 matches played across 10 venues in India. This is the first time India is hosting the World Cup tournament as a sole host.
The event will begin on October 5 with New Zealand taking on England in the tournament opener at Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad. The venue will also host the big-ticket match between India and Pakistan on October 14. It will also host the final of World Cup 2023 on November 19.
The tournament will see lots of new faces in the mix with experienced names. Some of the players are young and are full of talent which will be showcased in due time in the World Cup.

5. Tanzim Hasan Sakib (Bangladesh, 20y 341d)
Tanzim Hasan Sakib is a right-handed fast bowler who was part of Bangladesh’s 2020 U19 World Cup winning team. He made his first-class debut on 29 March 2021, for Sylhet Division in the 2020–21 National Cricket League. His Bangladesh senior debut came in Colombo during the Asia Cup 2023 tournament against India.
He made 14* and picked 2/32 in his 7.5 overs, which included the wicket of Rohit Sharma for a duck and Tilak Varma for 5 runs. He is considered to be a budding talent with the ball and has the ability to move it in the air and off the surface as well.
