In his last T20 International (T20I), he hit a scintillating century against Afghanistan at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The spunky opener's recent performance must have skyrocketed his morale and he will endeavour to showcase his batting mettle in the cash-rich league, as well. In case, he sees himself among the runs, this season, MI might retain him as a batter for the next edition of the tournament.
