Suryakumar Yadav has set the international circuit ablaze from the time he first donned the Indian jersey. The 32-year-old has demolished top-quality bowling attacks for fun with his 360-degree stroke play and smashed 1408 runs in 42 T20Is at a stunning strike rate of 180.97.
The ace batter was quite phenomenal in the T20 World Cup 2022 and took down bowling line-ups that came his way. Suryakumar hammered 239 runs in six games played in the T20 carnival at an exceptional strike rate of 189.68. His batting heroics were instrumental in India reaching the semi-final.
Suryakumar carried his rich vein of form in the T20I series against New Zealand. In the second game, when other batters found it difficult to get going, the Mumbai-born smashed a breathtaking century to take the Men in Blue to a daunting total of 191. When Hardik Pandya & co. clash against Sri Lanka in the upcoming T20I series, he will again be entrusted to deliver the goods with the bat.
