6. Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya was one of the essential members of the team in the 2019 World Cup. His all-round excellence helped the team in all departments of the game. As a batter, he reinforced India’s middle order racking up 226 runs in nine matches at an impressive strike rate of 112.43.
With the ball, he picked up 10 wickets at an economy of 5.65 and strengthened the team’s pace attack. In 2022, the talented all-rounder became the skipper of Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL, and under his captaincy, the franchise won the first title in its maiden league appearance.
The 29-year-old will be the deputy of captain Rohit in the Indian team for the 2023 World Cup and this time, the team management will want him to display his best side as an all-rounder. The Gujarat-born India stalwart has racked up 1753 runs and 74 wickets in 79 outings in his seven-year ODI career.
