10. Karun Nair

Rajasthan Royals roped in Karun Nair as their backup batsman who can fit in the middle-order. In the limited opportunities the 30-year-old got, he was not able to make a mark with his performances. The right-handed batter represented the Royals in three matches and could only manage 18 runs at a strike rate of 88.89.

Rajasthan Franchise seems to have a lock jam at the top order with Devdutt Paddikal who is a designated opener slotting in the middle order. Amid some high-quality batters, it seems unlikely Karun will be a regular feature in the team going forward.

The Royals shall be inclined to trade the Karnataka batter and look for options to fill up the gaps in their squad. Teams in search of a top-order Indian batter can look to draft him on their side.
