1. Shivam Mavi
Last month, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) parted ways with Shivam Mavi after his dismal outings in the last edition of the tournament. However, the young gun grabbed INR six crore from Gujarat Titans (GT) at the mini-auction. His base price was INR 40 lakh but his experience and potential helped him to get this huge amount.
Along with the Titans, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) also went after him. But in the end, Gujarat were the one who pulled off the deal. In the last season, Mavi looked horrendous for KKR with the ball claiming five wickets in six matches, at an expensive economy of 10.31.
This year, he also played Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and got his rhythm back by clinching 10 wickets in seven games for Uttar Pradesh, at an economy of 6.64. In the next edition of the league, he could be seen in the playing XI of the GT to add strength to their bowling line-up with Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya, and Rashid Khan.
