3. Joshua Little

Ireland cricketer Joshua Little participated in the mini-auction at a base price of INR 50 lakh. However, the pacer was roped in by defending champions Gujarat Titans for INR 4.4 crore. The 23-year-old also became the first Irish player to get an IPL contract. Last season, he was a part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) camp as their net bowler.

This year, the pacer had a fabulous journey in the T20 World Cup 2022 as he claimed 11 wickets in seven games, at a remarkable economy of 7.00. The bowler also became the highest wicket-taker for his side in the tournament. In a Super 12 clash against England, his bowling spell (3.0-0-16-2) helped his team to emerge victorious by five runs (DLS method).

Talking about his overall T20I performance, the youngster has taken 62 wickets in 53 matches, at a magnificent economy rate of 7.65. Noting his amazing bowling record in T20Is, Gujarat Titans believed in him to reinforce their bowling line-up for the upcoming season. He will be supported by Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya, and Rashid Khan too.
