1. Adam Zampa
Adam Zampa has been Australia’s premier spinner in white-ball cricket for the last couple of years. The 30-year-old has been entrusted to give his national side breakthroughs in the middle-overs and has done it with perfection. He has featured in 70 T20Is and bagged 78 scalps at an impressive economy of 6.99.
The spinners in the Mumbai Indians camp such as Murugan Ashwin, Hrithik Shokeen, and Mayank Markande have not been quite effective in the 2022 season. So, the five-time IPL champions can look to include Zampa in their squad to add bite to their spin bowling arsenal.
The Australian spinner has had a considerable amount of success in the lucrative T20 tournament. Zampa has played 14 games in IPL so far and taken 21 wickets at an economy of 7.74. He is a genuine wicket-taker and so the Mumbai think tank might ponder over drafting the ace leg-spinner for the upcoming season.
