1. Wayne Parnell
Wayne Parnell is the most experienced among all the cricketers discussed so far and and can thus bring value to the table. The tested bowler from South Africa isn't new to the IPL either, having played in the past for Delhi Daredevils and the now defunct Pune Warriors India. However, he has been out of the IPL scene for a long time now and would be raring to make a comeback to the cash-rich league.
Making his debut in 2009, Parnell has played 56 matches so far, claiming 59 wickets at a strike rate of 18.5 and also has the best economy among all the bowlers discussed so far - 8.29. He also has a four-wicket-haul and a fifer each to his name.
With the bat too, Parnell has amassed 174 T20I runs in 23 innings, remaining unbeaten as many as 13 times. Although not a great striker of the ball generally, Parnell can be seen as a replacement for Topley to give an experienced bowling option to be trusted to deliver results.
