2. Narayan Jagadeesan
Narayan Jagadeesan has been a proven performer in the Indian domestic circuit. The Coimbatore-born has featured in 44 List-A matches and notched up 2090 runs at an average of 49.76. When it comes to the shortest format, he has scored 1064 runs in 51 games at a strike rate of 118.61.
Jagadeesan set the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 ablaze with his jaw-dropping performances. The 26-year-old knocked the winds out of the bowling attacks that came his way and became the first batter in history to score five consecutive List-A centuries. He hammered 830 runs in eight games at a strike rate of 125.37.
Though Jagadeesan has not stamped his authority in the IPL arena yet and scored only 73 runs in seven games, he is in the form of his life and can make the upcoming edition of the lucrative T20 tournament his own. Further, he has the ability to bat in the top order and also in the middle order. With the in-form batter offering such versatility, IPL franchises are expected to go all guns blazing to sign him at the auction.
