2. Litton Das

At the 2023 mini-auction, Litton Das bagged his maiden IPL contract from KKR. The Bangladesh opener got signed at his basic price of INR 50 lakh. The right-handed batter was picked up in the accelerated round. He will join his national skipper Shakib Al Hasan to strengthen KKR in the forthcoming season.

After the auction, Litton displayed his elation on Twitter by posting a picture of himself in a KKR jersey. But in the forthcoming IPL edition, he might be seen warming the bench as KKR could find Narayan Jagadeesan and Rahmanullah Gurbaz more credible to fill the spot of a wicket-keeper batter.

Recently, Jagadeesan delivered some incredible knocks for Tamil Nadu in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022-23 and grabbed KKR’s attention at the auction. On the other side, Litton Das looked inconsistent for Bangladesh against quality teams.

The 28-year-old Bangladesh cricketer will face stiff competition from Afghan wicket-keeper batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who has done well for Afghanistan since 2021.
