1. David Wiese

The 37-year-old David Wiese will be seen in a KKR jersey in the sixteenth installment of the league. The franchise secured his services at the 2023 auction after paying INR 1 crore. Back in 2015, he debuted in the league for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Mumbai Indians (MI).

In his debut appearance, the South Africa-born cricketer showcased his all round skills. He racked up 4/33 and scored unbeaten 47 runs off just 25 balls in a losing cause. Later, he ended the season clinching 16 scalps in 14 matches, at an economy of 8.33.

In the next season too, he participated in the league for RCB but got only one game, in which he couldn’t deliver according to his potential with figures of 0/49.

This year, he will expect the KKR team management to provide him a chance to represent the franchise in the matches. However, KKR might not utilise his services in the whole season due to the availability of star West Indies all-rounder, Andre Russell, who is associated with the franchise since 2014.
