3. David Wiese
Born on May 18, 1985, David Wiese played most of his time in South Africa but recently switched to play for Namibia in international cricket. The 37-year-old was spectacular in the T20 World Cup 2021 but unfortunately couldn’t crack into any team. However, he has put his name once again with the hope to make his return in the marquee tournament.
The all-rounder previously represented Royal Challengers Bangalore and played 15 matches in the league. In the 2015 season, the destructive all-rounder scored 122 runs from three innings and also picked up 14 wickets at an economy of 8.33.
Playing for Namibia in the last two years, Wiese scored 361 runs from 19 innings at a strike rate of 126.66. The all-rounder also picked 17 wickets in the process. Now, given the damage he can do in limited-overs, Wiese can be on demand in the auction.
