3. Tymal Mills
The left-arm fast bowler is a known name in the local English T20 league. Playing for Sussex in T20 Blast, he has played an important role in the success of the team. It was his records for Sussex that helped him to make a place in the Mumbai Indians squad for 2022.
In the auction, MI acquired him at Rs.1.5 crore. Known for lethal fast bowling, Mills became a part of playing 11 in 6 games, but the English pacer failed to deliver his best with the ball. In six matches, he was able to pick up only 5 wickets with an expensive economy of 11.18. During the tournament, the speedster also got ruled out of the tournament due to an ankle injury.
With the record of disastrous performance with the ball,injury-prone IPL season, and the arrival of Jofra Archer, it’s likely for Mumbai Indians to release him before the auction.
