3. Adil Rashid

After having an amazing T20 World Cup last year, Adil Rashid got sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at his base price of INR 2 crore. At the mini-auction, he was expected to bag decent money but the 34-year-old could attract SRH only. However, the deal turned out reasonable for the SRH as they got in-form Rashid at a low amount.

Albeit, RCB could’ve roped the English leggie into their team to reinforce their spin attack. Noticing his recent performance, the franchise could’ve shown faith in him. In the last two years (2021 and 2022), the 34-year-ol was outstanding for England, claiming 42 wickets in 40 T20I matches. In the T20 World Cup 2022, he showed his brilliance with the ball, notching up four wickets in six matches at an economy of 6.12.

Last year, Wanindu Hasaranga led the spin-bowling unit efficiently for RCB. Taking 26 wickets in 16 IPL games at an economy of 7.54, the Sri Lanka spinner looked incredible with the ball. However, with the addition of Rashid, the team’s spin attack could’ve emerged as one of the best in the forthcoming competition.
