3. Harry Brook
Harry Brook has set the T20 circuit on fire with his blistering performances this calendar year. In Pakistan Super League 2022, the 23-year-old smashed 264 runs in 10 games at a stunning strike rate of 171.43. Then Brook tore bowling line-ups apart in the T20 Blast 2022 and scored 436 runs in 13 matches at a strike rate of 163.91.
The Yorkshire-born has displayed his batting might in the international arena as well and dismantled top-quality bowling attacks for fun. Brook has made 20 appearances for England in the shortest format and scored 372 runs at a strike rate of 137.77. Also, in the recently concluded Rawalpindi Test against Pakistan, the right-handed batter put on an exhibition of his flamboyant stroke play and scored 153 runs in the first innings and 87 runs in the second.
Given Brook’s stocks have been on a meteoric rise, it was surprising to see him keep his base price at INR 1.5 crore when the England batter could have easily kept himself in the top bracket. Fans could witness franchises going hammer and tongs to sign the ace batter at the 2023 player auction.
