2. Rinku Singh (Kolkata Knight Riders)
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Rinku Singh has worked hard to weave his magic in the domestic circuit. After being roped in by the Knight Riders for INR 80 lakh in 2018, he had a horrible debut season, as he managed to score just 29 runs. Realising that a lot had to be done, he worked hard to make a mark in the domestic circuit.
The efforts paid off as he became the third-highest run-getter in the 2018-2019 Ranji season, scoring 953 runs in 10 innings. This meant that KKR decided to retain him. Unfortunately, he was not able to make a mark in the 2019 and 2020 seasons as well.
But, in the 2023 season, he scripted history and repaid the faith shown by Abhishek Nayar as he scored five sixes in five balls against Gujarat Titans during an away game. In ten matches, Rinku has scored 316 runs at an impressive strike rate of 148.36. His performances have put him into the spotlight in the world of cricket.
