Adam Zampa has been a prominent figure in the shortest format of the game. The ace spinner has featured in 229 T20 games and picked up 264 wickets at an economy of 7.28. He has been phenomenal in the international arena as well, taking 82 wickets in 72 T20Is at an economy of 6.93.

Zampa is a wily customer and uses subtle changes in pace and variation. Also, he has the ability to bowl at any phase of the game. Rajasthan Royals signed the Australian spinner at the IPL 2023 auction to bolster their spin department.

However, given the composition of the side, Zampa is not likely to find a place in the playing XI. RR most certainly will start with Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, and Trent Boult as their four overseas option.

With the spin department already oozing class in the presence of Ashwin and Chahal, the think tank might not be inclined towards altering the balance of the side by including the Australian leg-spinner in the XI.
