2. Chris Jordan

Chris Jordan has made a name for himself for his sensational death-bowling prowess and has been a match-winner for England in the shortest format of the game. He has featured in 84 T20Is and bagged 95 wickets at an economy of 8.72. Also, the 34-year-old is no muck with the bat and has smashed 472 runs at a strike rate of 136.56.

Chennai Super Kings signed Jordan at the previous IPL auction to address their death-bowling concerns but the England seamer was not able to repay the faith. The Barbados-born played four matches and was able to bag just two wickets leaking runs at an alarming rate of 10.52. Due to Jordan’s mediocre outings, CSK did not retain him for the upcoming season.

Jordan has been around the IPL circuit since 2016 but the veteran pacer has not been able to stamp his authority on the lucrative T20 tournament yet. Though he has picked 27 scalps in 28 games, he has conceded runs at an economy of 9.32. Given the ace seamer struggled again in the 2022 season, IPL teams might not look to include him in their arsenal for the next season.
