3. Sandeep Sharma keeps MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja at bay

Currently, Rajasthan are doing well in the competition as they are in the third position on the points table with five victories. Their journey so far has been incredible as most of their big names have performed upto expectations. In their fourth match of the season, they beat CSK at Chepauk by three runs in the last-ball thriller.

Clinching the match from CSK at their fortress was not an easy task for RR but an excellent bowling effort from Sandeep Sharma made it achievable. Batting first, after losing the toss, Royals put up a decent total of 175 on the board, with some brilliant batting performances. Opening the bowling for Royals, Sharma gave a perfect start to RR by picking up dangerous Ruturaj Gaikwad in his second over. 

However, the partnership between Devon Conway and Ajinkya Rahane gave a tough time to RR but with some disciplined bowling displays, they succeeded in causing trouble for the hosts. With 20 runs left to defend in the last over, skipper Sanju Samson handed the ball to Sandeep, but the pacer struggled to stop Dhoni who smashed two sixes in his first three deliveries. After getting hit for a couple of maximums, the 29-year-old made a superb comeback and gave away only three runs to take the match home.
