After four weeks of the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals (RR) are sitting at the helm of the table with five triumphs and three losses. The comfortable 32-run victory against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will embolden the Sanju Samson-led side and now, they will aim to make it to the Playoffs stage. Along with RR, the defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) also looked spectacular and won their two games in week four of the tournament.

In the upcoming weeks, the battle will get more intense between the IPL teams in a bid to qualify for the next round of the competition. As the fourth week of the tournament ended with the contest between CSK and RR at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium, it was witnessed that some teams struggled in these seven days due to their non-performing players.

Therefore, teams will look to analyse their shortcomings including benching the players who have looked out of sync in the past week of the cash-rich league. This could happen with the teams especially those who are still reeling at the bottom of the IPL Points Table. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that we are almost reaching the 'Do or Die' zone of the cricket carnival.

Discussing more, here is the flop XI from week four of the IPL 2023

As the tournament is advancing, Harry Brook’s horrendous form is also going ahead with him. After witnessing his fabulous century against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fans were expecting Brook to be among the runs. However, that didn’t happen as the English player failed in his next match against Mumbai Indians (MI).

In week four of the competition, SRH faced CSK at the MA Chidambaram Stadium and winning the toss, CSK captain MS Dhoni invited SRH to bat first. Against the quality CSK bowling line-up, it was crucial for SRH to get a fierce start from Brook but the youngster again failed to turn up against bowlers, scoring only 18 off 13.

The match against CSK ended with SRH’s seven-wicket loss and now Aiden Markram-led side’s campaign moved to their home venue, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. After failing against CSK, Brook looked below par against Delhi Capitals (DC) as well. In his team’s seven-run defeat, the youngster got hunted by Anrich Nortje at his individual score of seven.
