9. Sunil Narine
Sunil Narine has bagged many games for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in his immense IPL career. In Kolkata Knight Riders’ couple of title victories, Narine played a crucial role with his right-arm off-break bowling. Counting on his reputation as an incredible spinner, Knight Riders have always assigned him the role to lead the spin department.
After performing fantabulously against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Narine went into the match against Mumbai Indians (MI) with confidence. Defending a total of 185, KKR were expecting him to put up an amazing show with the ball.
However, things didn’t go as per the visitors’ plan as MI batters took Narine to the cleaners and plundered 41 runs in his three-over spell. After a bad day against MI, the veteran looked underconfident against Delhi Capitals (DC) as well. This time too, he didn’t get any wickets and went for 36 runs in his four-over spell.
