3. Mitchell Marsh (Delhi Capitals)

The first half of the current edition of the IPL has been one of the worst ones in the history of the Delhi Capitals. With poor outings and team selections, their performance has been below par. They will need something special from their key players to turn things around during the second half of the IPL.

However, there have been few players who have played as per expectations. The primary example is Mitchell Marsh, as he was on full flow during the game against the Sunrisers. With the ball, he was excellent as he picked up four crucial wickets in his quota of four overs by giving away just 27 runs.

With the bat, he was the only major contributor alongside Phil Salt and Axar Patel as the Capitals failed to chase down a huge target of 198 runs in 20 overs. Marsh was able to score 63 runs from 39 balls. But that was not enough because of a weak Delhi batting lineup.
