Franchises partner with merchandise sellers to offer items such as T-shirts, caps, wristwatches etc. for sale, and receive a portion of the money collected from customers. Rajasthan Royals' exclusive global merchandise partner is PlayR. The collaboration will see PlayR develop a line of RR fan stuff, including apparel, accessories, and lifestyle items. FanCode Shop, TagZ Foods, and Gullyactive Club are RR's other official merchandise partners.
The collaboration will use FanCode Shop's sports commerce and technology skills to create a connected and seamless experience for fans to purchase licensed RR products. Gullyactive, an athleticwear brand, has teamed with Royals to manufacture fan items for the 2023 IPL season, while TagZ Foods is a snack-based startup that, too, has teamed up with RR to scale their merchandise business.
