Delhi Capitals are having to deal with a huge blow after Rishabh Pant's exclusion from the IPL 2023. The Delhi squad could have a compromised unit while attempting to counter the void created by Rishabh Pant. However, they still boast a few key players who are match-winners by themselves. To begin with, they have Prithvi Shaw and David Warner to open the batting for them.

At No.3, they can play Mitchell Marsh, subject to his fitness. They also have the Under-19 star Yash Dhull and Lalit Yadav who could also be included in the line-up. At No.4, they could have either Rovman Powell or Rilee Roussouw to add more firepower to the unit.

To strengthen the middle and the lower middle order, Sarfaraz Khan, Philip Salt and Axar Patel are likely to be included in the mix. Other than the players mentioned, they have limited options. However, even with the available players, they can come up with a decent depth in their batting line-up. On a scale of 1-10, this unit can be given 7.3 / 10.
