Chennai Super Kings have a good squad and a set of stable players for various roles. To begin with, they have options like Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad as probables to open the innings. For the slot at no.3, they could go with Ambati Rayudu or an experienced Ajinkya Rahane.

In the middle overs, they have options like Moeen Ali/Shivam Dubey, Ben Stokes and MS Dhoni who could anchor and even accelerate the run rate with their power-hitting abilities. To add to the long batting lineup of CSK, Ravindra Jadeja who will be their X-factor, can bring stability and be a link to both the batting and the bowling outfits.

While these few players who are named here aren’t the only ones, playing them in the XI is going to keep CSK ahead in the competition. On a scale of 1-10, this batting depth deserves to be given 8 / 10.
