Even though he can be a handy bowling option, captain Sanju Samson was reluctant to try him.

His economy of 8.10, however, can get better.
More than his bowling, the 24-year-old can be released because of his disciplinary actions. Despite being a Delhi Capitals player, Sakariya was spotted waving the Rajasthan Royals flag on the night of the finals. Now, it depends on how the management will see that incident and whether he will be penalised or not.
Sakariya being a young bowler requires more opportunities. He was terrific for Rajasthan before and expected more game time but under Rishabh Pant, Sakariya never looked convincing. Delhi Capitals can save 4.2 crores by offloading him in the trading window. Khaleel Ahmed or Mustafizur Rahman can replace him in the squad.

Varun can be a potential piece of interest for many teams. He can redeem himself like Kuldeep Yadav did at Delhi Capitals. A change is what he needs and maybe the upcoming trading window is the answer to all the problems plaguing him and the Knight Riders. Both parties can gain from the move.

The 24-year-old Suyash Prabhudessai can be his ideal replacement. Thus, RCB should not hesitate to trade Rutherford if any of the other teams come to get him in the trading window.

He played just three matches in the season and failed miserably. Sunrisers are known for backing their players but they will also look forward to saving some money for the auction and Shepherd can be on the list of players they want to get rid of.
Thus, if a proposal arrives, the Hyderabad management will not be shy to say no. Especially with Kane Williamson, Nicolas Pooran and Aiden Markram having already sealed their spots in the playing XI, paying Shepherd a large sum of money to simply warm the bench seems an unwise move.
The 27-year-old only scored 58 runs in the three matches that he played and had an economy of 10.89 with the ball. His strike rate with the bat however is one big positive factor. Teams can therefore chase him in the trading window and look to get him on board fora lesser value.
