4. Sikandar Raza 1/19 & 57(41) vs Lucknow Super Giants
Sikandar Raza made history against LSG as he became the first Zimbabwean cricketer to score an IPL fifty and win the Player of the Match Award. He has come a long way from Pakistan's Punjab to India's Punjab via Zimbabwe. He was having a decent outing in the IPL till the game against LSG but the match against LSG changed his fortune. With the ball in hand, he got the better of Deepak Hooda in his two-over spell.
With a target of 160 to chase, Punjab lost three wickets inside the powerplay. Then Raza stitched a partnership with Harpreet Singh. He exploded in the 13th over hitting Krunal Pandya for 17 runs courtesy of two sixes and one four. Then he kept on nudging through the entire innings to keep PBKS in the game. He got out to Ravi Bishnoi in the 18th over.
He played the role of an anchor in absence of Shikhar Dhawan. Before he got out, he made sure the target was within touching distance of PBKS. He's already established himself as a proven T20 all-rounder, now it's time for him to flourish in the IPL.
