The encounter between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings resulted in another high-run chase for the Punjab Kings. While batting first, CSK posted 200 runs in their 20 overs. During this innings, Devon Conway was the star of the CSK batting lineup as he managed to score an unbeaten 92 in just 52 balls.

Conway stiched a great partnership with Ruturaj Gaikwad who scored 37 runs from 31 balls. However, Sikandar Raza managed to pick the wicket of Ruturaj during a crucial time of the game. This meant that Shivam Dube had to face more deliveries than he expected and it derailed the momentum of the opposition.

While chasing 200, PBKS got off to a strong start, thanks to their openers. But, a decent comeback from CSK bowlers dragged the game till the last over. In the last over, Raza was phenomenal as he managed to quickly run three runs off the final delivery and guided PBKS home in the thriller.
