3 bowlers RCB can sign as Mohammed Siraj’s backup in the IPL 2024 auction.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2020 and he got to play 10 matches, taking 5 wickets. After that, he suffered back-to-back stress fractures and didn’t play much cricket of any kind. After KKR let him go, Delhi Capitals picked him, but he once again got injured, sustaining a lower back stress fracture.
Nagarkoti has yet to play any game since then and was released by Capitals as well. He is undergoing fitness and rehab and looks set to get fit in time for IPL 2024. Nagarkoti is capable of hitting the high 140 kph speeds and if he is fit, can be a good bet for RCB to keep as a backup for Siraj in the upcoming season.
