IPL 2024: 3 Bowlers RCB can sign as backups for Mohammed Siraj in auction

1. Shivam Mavi

The 25-year-old Shivam Mavi has played 6 T20Is for India, picking 7 wickets and in 52 T20s, Mavi has 53 wickets with a best of 4/14. In 32 IPL matches, Mavi has 30 wickets with a best of 4/21 and an economy of 8.71. He had been bought by Gujarat Titans for INR 6 crores in the IPL 2023 auction but didn’t get to play a single match and was released by the franchise.

Mavi also battled an injury recently, which made him miss the Asian Games in Hangzhou. However, at his fittest, Mavi can be a dangerous bowler, capable of bowling searing yorkers, and is also pretty handy with the bat.
