Australia’s wicketkeeper batter Josh Inglis might bag a huge deal in the upcoming auction. In the recently concluded five-match T20I series against India, Inglis looked incredible with his bat. In the first T20I played in Visakhapatnam, he smashed a 47-ball hundred and equated Aaron Finch’s record of scoring the fastest T20I ton for the Aussie side.

The 28-year-old has played a lot of cricket for Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League (BBL). Playing in Australia’s T20 league, he has piled up 1509 runs with 13 fifties in 65 matches at a marvellous strike rate of 142.76. In 2023, Perth lifted the coveted trophy for the fifth time and Inglis played a vital role in this success.

The stumper hit 431 runs in 16 games at a strike rate of 146.59 and ended up as the third-highest run-getter in the tournament. In the 2024 IPL auction, RCB might splurge big money on the Aussie after witnessing their wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik struggling with form in 2023.
