4. Dilshan Madushanka
Dilshan Madushanka performed exceptionally with the ball in the 2023 World Cup. The pacer scalped 21 wickets in nine matches and ended up as the third-highest wicket-taker in the ODI tournament. The speedster grabbed the eyeballs with his magnificent performances against quality sides India and Australia.
Madushanka’s base price will be INR 50 lakh in the auction but he might cause a bidding battle among the franchises. The Sri Lanka stalwart is already a part of Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) owned Durban Super Giants (DSG) in the SA20 League and it won’t be a surprise if LSG sign him up in the IPL 2024 auction.
Along with LSG, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) might also show interest in him as they have parted ways with the Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood. Madushanka’s effective World Cup performance proves that he has the potential to trouble batters in India’s difficult conditions.
