Wanindu Hasaranga was sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 1.5 crore which was his base price. This was a huge steal deal for SRH, who needed a match-winning spinner like him after Rashid Khan’s departure. Hasaranga was brilliant for RCB and it was a surprise, they didn’t go all out to buy him back at the auction. The Sri Lankan wizard will form a terrific partnership with Washington Sundar in the spin department to lessen SRH’s woes.
