2. Faf Du Plessis vs Kagiso Rabada
South African international Faf du Plessis was one of the most impressive batters for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last encounter against CSK. His flowing drives and mesmerizing shots in the powerplay were dictating the game for the initial few overs. Before getting dismissed, he looked like he would make it a big score on his return to the M.A Chidambaram stadium but it wasn’t meant to be.
His key battle would be against his countrymate Kagiso Rabada who has received some criticism for his line and length, especially in the T20 format. Even though he picked up a wicket in the last game, he gave away 36 runs which could have been costly. But with the new rule of two short balls per over, Rabada can be lethal if he uses this ploy.
