Ardent cricket buffs witnessed some overseas players such as Travis Head, Jos Buttler, Heinrich Klaasen, Sunil Narine, Rovman Powell, and Gerald Coetzee put up impressive shows in the fourth week of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL).

On one hand, some foreign players looked extraordinary while on the other hand, a few overseas names struggled to do their jobs efficiently in the fourth week and made it to the list of non-performers. Discussing more, below are 11 overseas players of the competition’s fourth week.

Here is the worst-overseas XI of the fourth week:

1. Quinton de Kock (WK)

Quinton De Kock

Quinton de Kock failed to produce his best for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the competition’s fourth week, scoring only 19 (13) against Delhi Capitals (DC) and 10 (8) against the Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

2. Jonny Bairstow

Jonny Bairstow continued his poor run with his bat in the fourth week. In Punjab Kings’ three-wicket loss against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Mohali, the veteran opener departed after accumulating only 15 runs off 19 deliveries.

3. Will Jacks

Will Jacks

Will Jacks came to bat at number three for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Chasing a score of 288, he got an uphill task to stitch a partnership with his captain Faf du Plessis after Virat Kohli’s departure. However, he failed to be at his best and got run out at a score of seven after facing four balls.

4. Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis struggled to be among the runs and wickets against Delhi and Kolkata. Against DC, Lucknow got a six-wicket hammering and the Australian could score only eight runs from the bat while with the ball, he bowled only one over and gave away 10 runs.

5. Daryl Mitchell

Daryl Mitchell

Daryl Mitchell hasn’t looked disciplined with his bat for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the competition, thus far. In the fourth week, the Super Kings beat MI by 20 runs at the Wankhede Stadium but Mitchell could amass only 17 runs off 14 balls with only one four.

6. Liam Livingstone

7. Mohammad Nabi (C)

Mohammed Nabi

MI clinched a nine-run victory against PBKS in Mohali in the last game of the fourth week but their all-rounder Mohammad Nabi lacked discipline with both bat and ball. As a batter, he returned to the dugout on a one-ball duck.

8. Romario Shepherd

Romario Shepherd

Romario Shepherd failed to be impactful for MI against both CSK and PBKS. Against the Super Kings, Mumbai were pursuing 207 runs and he came to bat at number seven in the 17th over. In the crunch situation, the West Indies stalwart fell against Matheesha Pathirana after scoring only one run off two balls.

9. Shamar Joseph
