What brought the tall, right-handed top-order batter into the limelight was the 2022 edition of the Under-19 World Cup in the Caribbean. Angkrish Raghuvanshi finished as India's leading run-getter in that particular campaign. He was one of the main components of the World Cup-winning squad.

Raghuvanshi, who had moved to Mumbai from Delhi when he was just 11, was trained extensively by Abhishek Nayar and Omkar Salvi. Having been bought at the mini auction in IPL 2024 at his base price, Raghuvanshi was definitely a bright spark who ended up dazzling. His IPL debut saw him take the Delhi Capitals' bowlers to the cleaners.

Although he could not really capitalize on the other opportunities which his came his way post that match, one thing which was blatantly evident was his appetite for taking risks. He is one batter who is well and truly capable of acccelerating rapidly. With the nascent promise he displayed in IPL 2024, he is one of the uncapped players for whom franchises might go the extra mile to acquire.
