1. Deepak Chahar
Deepak Chahar has been part of CSK camp ever since he joined them in 2018. The right-arm pacer, who is known to swing the ball on Indian decks, was retained by them ahead of IPL 2024 for a whopping INR 14 crore. He played eight games and picked five wickets at an average of 40.40 and a strike rate of 28.20 and an economy rate of 8.60.

The 32-year-old has an old association with injuries, but he teams would like him to be in sound fitness. The pacer have the ability to bowl in the powerplay and in death overs, something which MI and RCB lacked in IPL 2024. To further add he has played alongside Rohit Sharma Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli for India.
