At No. 3, Nicholas Pooran has been the most consistent batter in IPL 2025. The left-hander has scored 75 (30) and 70 (26) against DC and SRH, respectively, accumulating 145 runs in 2 innings at an astonishing average of 72.50 and a strike rate of 258.93.
Middle Order - Shreyas Iyer (C), Dhruv Jurel (WK), and Vipraj Nigam

The middle order comprises Shreyas Iyer, Dhruv Jurel, and Vipraj Nigam. Shreyas played a fantastic knock against GT, scoring an unbeaten 97* off just 42 balls, including 5 fours and 9 sixes. He will also captain the side.
At No. 5, wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel played a crucial innings against SRH, scoring 70 (35) while chasing 287. He also contributed 33 (28) against KKR. Following him is Vipraj Nigam, who impressed with 1/30 with the ball and a game-changing 39 (15) with the bat.
Lower Middle Order - Ashutosh Sharma and Shardul Thakur

Youngster Ashutosh Sharma played a blinder against LSG, smashing an unbeaten 66 (31), including 5 fours and as many sixes, helping DC to pull off their biggest run chase in IPL history. He was the best Indian finisher of the first week.
At No. 8, Shardul Thakur has been the best powerplay wicket-taker, dismissing key players like Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abhishek Porel against DC. He also scalped Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Abhinav Manohar, and Mohammed Shami against SRH. Additionally, he can contribute with the bat if needed.
Bowlers: R Sai Kishore, Noor Ahmad, Josh Hazlewood, and Yash Dayal (Impact Substitute)

Josh Hazlewood will lead the pace attack, excelling in both powerplay and death overs. Yash Dayal, his teammate, has also bowled well against KKR and CSK.
