Glenn Maxwell was one of the best players for RCB in the period 2021-24. The star player did well both as a batter and as a bowler for the 3-time finalists. With the bat, the Australian scored 1266 runs in 50 innings at an average of 28.77 and a great SR of 159.25. With the ball, he claimed 18 wickets and was handy for his side.

Due to age not being on his side and poor form, Maxwell was released by RCB. He made his return to Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025.
