The incident took place after DC suffered their first loss of the IPL 2025 season. While chasing a 206-run target, the side looked in the game till the 119-run partnership between Karun Nair and Abishek Porel. However, a batting collapse handed Mumbai a narrow victory.
Following the match, Karthik asked Axar where he thought the game had slipped away, mentioning that disappointment was visible on the captain’s face. But Axar, having a big smile, gave a funny and savage reply that went viral."Mumbai ke paas (towards Mumbai)," Patel said on air.
