In the 2022 edition of the IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) kicked off their campaign against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. Winning the toss, SRH skipper Kane Williamson invited Royals to bat first. Opening the innings, SRH’s bowling spearhead Bhuvneshwar Kumar started the game with four dot balls initially in his spell.

On the fifth delivery, Bhuvneshwar got the RR opener Jos Buttler caught at first slip to Abdul Samad. As Buttler was heading towards the pavilion, the no-ball siren rang and the veteran returned to bat. Taking advantage of Bhuvneshwar’s bowling error, the wicketkeeper gave an amazing start to the team, amassing 58 runs with Yashasvi Jaiswal in the powerplay overs.

Buttler went back to the pavilion with his score of 35 off 28 but his aggressive batting delivered momentum to RR to post a colossal total of 210 on the board. In the end, Bhuvneshwar’s no ball went against SRH as RR thumped the Williamson-led side by 61 runs.
