2. Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings- 2021
Chennai Super Kings cross swords against Mumbai Indians in the 27th game of the 14th edition of the lucrative T20 tournament. Mumbai won the toss and skipper Rohit Sharma decided to field first. CSK piled on an intimidating total of 218 runs on the board courtesy of magnificent knocks from Faf du Plessis, Moeen Ali, and Ambati Rayudu.
In a bid to hunt down the target of 219, Mumbai had a strong start and were 68 for no loss in seven overs. But they suffered a mini-collapse and lost three wickets in the next three overs. It seemed like one-way traffic but Kieron Pollard had some other plans.
The former West Indies batter put up an exhibition of his power-hitting might and knocked the wind out of bowlers that came his way. Though wickets fell at the other end, Pollard kept his cool and blasted 87* runs off 34 deliveries to take Mumbai across the line in a last-ball thriller.
