3. Shams Mulani
Shams Mulani has been in top form this year with his lethal bowling. The 25-year-old is playing first-class cricket since November 2018, but this year, he drew attention with his brilliant bowling performances in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) and Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Playing in the SMAT, the left-arm off-spinner was the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the competition with 16 wickets in 10 matches at an economy rate of 6.51. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy too, he looked aggressive with the ball and grabbed seven wickets in seven games at a superb economy rate of 4.64.
Earlier this year, he also scalped 45 wickets in six matches and became the highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy competition 2021-22. His base price for the upcoming auction is INR 20 lakhs, but due to his all-round skills and his current top-notch form, the franchises might not hesitate to invest good money in him.
