IPL auction 2023: 5 uncapped Indian players who could be steal deals
Let's check out some uncapped Indian players who might turn out to be steal deals at the forthcoming auction.
2. Samarth Vyas
Saurashtra batter Samarth Vyas has looked in amazing touch with the bat this year. Racking up 314 runs in seven matches at a stellar strike rate of 177.40, he became the fifth-highest run-scorer of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23.
Taking the confidence of the T20 tournament ahead, he played some incredible knocks in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022-23 and became the leading run-scorer for Saurashtra with 443 runs in ten games at a scintillating average of 44.30.
Displaying his sensational form, Vyas smashed 200 runs off 131 deliveries against Manipur. By virtue of the innings, he became one of the very few batters to notch up a double-ton in the history of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
After having some fine outings with the bat in both tournaments, he is being touted as one of the leading uncapped Indian players to receive a massive amount at the upcoming auction.
The franchises will keep his fearless batting style and brilliant batting figures in their minds and strive to rope him into their team for the next IPL edition. Currently, Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad are lacking openers and hence they are likely to target Vyas.
