5. Suryakumar Yadav {8/10}
Suryakumar Yadav made his IPL debut in 2012 with Mumbai Indians before being roped in by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 70 lakh in 2014. In the same year, he was reported for suspect bowling action while representing KKR in the Champions League T20 final and has not bowled a single delivery in IPL since then. Surya reunited with Mumbai Indians in 2018 and was picked for INR 3.2 crore. In 2022, he was retained by the franchise for a price of INR 8 crore.
Surya has multiple tattoos on his body, including the faces of his parents and their name, a big tribal tattoo on his left arm, upper back, and chest, and the name of his wife on his chest. He got an ambigram tattoo of his parents' names, Ashok and Swapna, before IPL 2014, which can be read as Swapna from one side and Ashok from the other.
He also got a tattoo of his parents' faces on his arm after Kolkata Knight Riders won IPL 2014, fulfilling his promise to get the tattoo if they become champions. Surya has 'Life is what you make it' tattooed on his left forearm and 'Take one step at a time' on his left foot as motivational quotes.
On a tour to New Zealand, Surya got introduced to Maori designs that feature patterns that symbolize family culture, heritage, and admiration for personal history. He has a Maori face tattoo covering his left upper body and got a tattoo of his wife Devisha's name just below the Maori tattoo.
He has some secondary tattoos that represent 'old-school' elements, such as a rose tattoo on his right hand symbolizing true love, a diamond tattoo symbolizing wealth and success, and a Nautical Star tattoo on the same arm symbolizing direction. Additionally, he has a 'Faith' tattoo on the back of his left shoulder.
