Hardik Pandya made his captaincy debut in 2022 with Gujarat Titans and won the trophy in his first stint. It helped him earn the opportunity to captain the Indian cricket team in both T20Is and ODIs. Pandya made his IPL debut in 2015 with Mumbai Indians and became one of the key figures for the team. In 2018, MI shelled out INR 11 crores to retain him and released him in 2022.
