5. Delhi Capitals - 62.4 million dollars
Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils till 2018) started their journey in the Indian Premier League in a solid fashion, reaching the playoffs in the first two seasons. But since then, they have been plagued by inconsistency more often than not. This is the reason why in the 15 editions of the tournament played thus far, they have not got a hold of the silverware.
However, in the last four editions, the Delhi-based franchise has played some brilliant cricket and qualified for the knockout stages on three of those occasions. In the 2020 season, they even reached the finals but lost the summit clash to Mumbai Indians.
As the showings of the team have improved, their brand value has also increased. Their perceived value since the 14th edition has risen by 11% and reached 62.4 million dollars. Presently, Rishabh Pant is the commander-in-chief of the Delhi side and he would look to take his franchise to the silverware and end the title drought in the coming season.
