3. Chennai Super Kings - 73.6 million dollars

Chennai Super Kings have arguably been the most consistent team in the history of the Indian Premier League. They have been well-led led by the Indian legend MS Dhoni and since the inaugural IPL edition, CSK have won the tournament four times and have been runners-up on five occasions.

Chennai’s most recent triumph came in the year 2021 when they conquered Kolkata Knight Riders in the summit clash. Courtesy of their exploits on the field, CSK's stature as a brand has registered remarkable growth. Moreover, apart from Dhoni, many T20 superstars such as Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, and Shane Watson have donned the yellow jersey which has been instrumental in their incredible popularity.

However, all the talks and rumors of a potential rift between star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and the franchise in the previous edition led to a three percent dip in the franchise’s brand value. But still, they are the third most profitable brand with a valuation of 73.6 million dollars.
